How long can bud stay in a jar before it goes bad?

Curious, i wanna know how how long you can store bud before it gets to the point its not a good smoke anymore..

also whats the best way to keep bud stored a very long time

as long as its dry enough and in a dark cool spot bud can last for a really long time, it will eventually become crumbly though if u keep opening the jar, but id say like 5 yrs as long as its sealed up tight, also be careful of light cus it will kill cannaboids

i have some from two years ago that is as good as ever.

as long as whatever you put it in is air tight and the area your store it in is dark, a long time.
