How long before i can put under HID from Cfl's?

My question is when can i put my seedlings from the 5x 24w (6500k) cfl's to go under the 1000w MH? They are all about 2" and just growing the first set of true leaves. I know its to early at the moment but wondered when would be the right time

i would wait till there about 5-6 inches then put them under, start off with your light as far away as possible the move it closer each day till your at the right height! just keep an eye on them when they first go under,
