How long aproximate veg time to get a 4-5 footer?

Hey guys,

Simple question, how long of a veg cycle sprox can I expect to have if I am trying to grow a plant to about 4 feet tall BEFORE flowering?

I only deal with short plants due to the space I had - After this harvest I am editing my entire setup and giving my grow room an extra 5 feet hieght so I want to max the stretch of the plant.

Typically the plant will double to triple in size during flowering. Depends on the genetics but I would veg it to 2' for a 4-5' plant.

depends on what your growing, if you wanna make the plant stretch a bit do what i do. use the hps bulb for both veg and bloom, i finish bloom at 7 to 8 feet everytime

when your plants are that tall,do the bottom buds really get much light?or how do u set up your lights?added sidelight?

You're looking at about 2 months if you're a really good grower.
