how late is two late to clone?

I have two plants 3 and 1/2 weeks into flowering and was wondering if it is too late too clone and if its ok were would i cut for a clone at this stage.

It is still ok to clone, it will take a while to go back to a veg state but you should be fine. Take your clones from the lower parts of your plants as this is the newest growth and would just end up as popcorn buds anyway so no loss.

...you can turn a bud into a clone, I've done it. It is never too late to cut clones, but as Weatherwax says, it may take longer to start root growth.

This was a unwilling clone about 4 weeks from finish. It rooted and finished off about two weeks later then the mom. It even rooted and finished under hps. 12/12 light. Sorry best I could do with the pics

ive seen clones successfully taken from plants almost or at 5 weeks into bloom... the success rate was real lower and it took for ever to root..... but it is very possible. ive seen it happen
