How late in the season can you plant outdoors?

Would it be feasible to put some 6 inch rooted clones outside in say middle-late September and expect a harvest from them at all? Can you tell me about your experiences with planting outdoors late in the season? Thanks bongsmilie

yeah i ve done it from last year....it will be automatically flowering just like 12/12 from seed or clone...keep in mind about frost that could cause many problems when its night time outside...last year i exprimented three plants. it was kind of hassle of works because i had to get plants indoor at 6 30pm before the chilling come...then next morning i had to put em outside at 6 30am . I grew from seed till harvest in about 11 to 13 weeks. For me, it was worth to get more exprienced and rewards from the nuggets :bigjoint:

Happy growing and peace

This year I've started a few plants in each month from April until hopefully the end of July, I'm very curious as well to see the yields from the plants started late. I'm out in Northern Ontario and can usually keep them in the ground until mid October at the latest. Good luck Timfbmx!

It all depends on when it gets too cold. Id keep my plants in pots and if starts gettin too cold then finish them up inside.
Of you could build a greenie and try to heat it somehow.
I got 4 blackboxes outta my greenie last year. THe last round we knew we were cutting it close weather wise so we kept the plants in pots and finished the last 2-3 weeks indoors.

It would be better to put them out right now. Put em out in September and I wouldnt expect good results.
