How Late can I clone

Morning Rollers, I am a outdoor grow from seed guy. I have a strain from Holland called BDS and as it continues to flower it is proving to be one of my best plants ever. As opposed to buying seeds at $20 each can I still clone? I am deep into flowering, but I have heard that I can take some cuttings and put them into a 24 or 20-4 hr light cycle & send her back to Veg? any opinions...please

It is true, you can.

I think the clones are going to lose potency though since you're reverting them back to veg, so you might wanna buy more seeds and create an inside growing mother plant under constant 24 or 18/6 and creates clones to put outside.

lol, no, they will not be less potent. cut em and get em back to veg, you will be fine its just going to take longer to root and re veg em so be patient! I snipped a few clones before flower when they showed sex and 2 just about 10days after they were flipped to flower. The clones from before flower rooted about 5 days faster then the ones cut later so dont worry if they take a while, it is normal.

na... just trim most of the buds off.... leave some nice lower growth on the plant.

flip the lights on 24/7 wait 3-4 weeks branches will grow out of buds

Just realize, you are going to get some really funky growth after you get roots... Maybe back to single leaves... and weird looking growth, as it converts back to veg... Good Luck man... clone 3 or 4... in case you loose one...

They will root just as quick, but like sand4x105 said, after they root, they will grow slow and distorted at first
just the same as a re-rejuvenated plant with distorted non serrated leaves etc
they will grow normal after 2-3 weeks
