How is this supposed to work?

I made a grow journal and then made a thread here that linked to it, which is what I thought this forum was for. Unfortunately it got deleted for cross-posting, and now I am not sure how I am supposed to do this. I thought there was supposed to be a parallel thread in this forum for discussing the thread in that forum. Is that not how this works?

That's what I did. Then I started a discussion thread in this forum to connect to it. I thought that is how this is supposed to work...... It even says in this forum to link to your journal.... which is what I did.....

Duplicate threads is pointless

I guess my confusion comes from the sticky in the grow journal forum that says not to comment in people's journals, and there's this whole subforum that says its for discussing your journal so I made one thread that is the grow journal and a second thread that is the discussion thread for that journal. I assumed this was the whole point of this subforum, and for the rules against posting in people's journals. I still truly do not understand why this was problematic. I mean I will abide by it of course but I just don't get it.

Just start a journal and say feel free to comment in it, you can link the journal in your signature, if you are on mobile, flip the device sideways and check out people sigs.

Some people do not want comments in there journal.

Looks like it doesn't work. Pretty damn confusing for sure. Wait another month. Maybe you will get answer?
