How is this for my first setup?

Hey guys, thanks for checking out my post. I have some pictures of my setup. This is my first time and I just want to know what you guys think about it. Any questions, comments, and concerns are greatly appreciated. Thank you.





This is my tent. The top section is for sprouting the seed and the bottom section will be for flowering.

An up close view of my carbon filter, my 6" exhaust fan, and the ducting that is going to my 600 HPS light




An up close view of my ducting going to my 4" intake fan which is pointed at my Power Grower Eco Complete. I also have my timer, PH indicator, and my thermometer to check temperature and humidity on the ground to the right.




This is my final up close view I have. It is of the ducting going out of my 600 HPS light and going out of the tent.



So what do you guys think for my first try?

one Q what is the brand
of the small tent on top?

I like it. Very well set-up. What are the dimensions of that tent and how big is that carbon filter?

hellraizer, the tent is by the same brand. The company is Secret Jardin and the model of the grow room is the DRT90.

Can I ask how big the carbon filter is too?

I like that cloning tent perfect for the eazy cloner

it looks ok but one question why is your exhaust fan on bottom i would suggest putting it up high as heat rises unless you have it as a intake idunno
IMO i would have two 4 " aluminum gravity fed air in and that exhaust blower up high exciting air in

I does look huge doesn't it? Ofcourse, my 6x24 Phresh filter seems huge also

You don't see too many setups with such a large intake fan, do you still have negative pressure in the tent?

Hey guys, thank you all so much for the comments. Highonbud, thank you for the compliment. Took me a while and a lot of opinions to finally determine what I wanted.

Midnight Joker, my carbon filter is 6"x39". It is a massive beast. lol

DrFever, my exhaust fan is actually the fan that is going from the right side of the light to the outside of the tent. The fan on the bottom left is actually my intake fan.

Pazuzu420, yeah I agree. I didn't think my carbon filter was going to be big, but that's the one that my grow shop recommended and money isn't an object and they told me that that one is great. The same thing with the fans too. They recommended those fans and I was like, "I'll take them." Haha. Thank you very much and I can't wait to give this a try.


I still don't know how to grow, so my first few tries are going to fail. Hopefully, I can get the hang of it.

Don't say that you are going to fail, bro. That's what RIU is here for, to help you with your problems. Please post when you are up and running. I would love to see how it is going.
