How is the AK48?

I'm going to be trading for some AK48 seeds. What is people's experience with it... taste, high, grow report?

AK48 in my opinion is a shitty ass want to be knock off of AK47 that doesn't compare to the real thing. But then again what Nirvana strain isn't a cheap ripoff of some other reputable seed banks hard work? FUCK NIRVANA!!!!

I'm thats in part true. I have Sativa dominant genetics and all Indica. I am getting these for free basically so I'm more curious about people's experience growing it whether good or bad. It should remain pretty short since it's only 30% Sativa but I'm hoping the high will be a little more complex than just some straight bag seed Indica.
Anyone?

I don't mean to give a bad rep. to any seed co. but my exp. with AK48 was not good at all. About 2 years ago I ordered 10 AK48 and 20 White Rhino seeds from Nirvana and for some reason all the seed I ordered were sterile, dead, not worth the package they were shipped in. So I went through the gauntlet that is Nirvana's customer service and well to make a long story short never got reimbursed. Since then I have done alot of research on there company and well I can tell you that they are not a reputable company at all. 90% of all the strains they sell are in fact stolen from seed banks that worked there ass off for them. What is even more pathetic is they can't even come up with there own descriptions of the strains that they copied so they had to steal them too and then they give it a name like AK48 (how fucking original). And the saddest part is the quality of the genetics are second rate at best. And yes there are other seed companies that practice the same shady business ethics as Nirvana but none on the same level. So I wish you luck with your AK48 and hope you have a better exp. than I did. PEACE

I mate i think ak-48 is good i am growing 2 plant both female i have nice fat bud on 1 plant at mo really easy to grow but it smell alot lol have a go mate

lol... yeah a guy I met locally who grows bought them at some point and just created a bact h of seeds because they were right for him and he wanted to stock up. He's not interested in keeping a mother but rather does to grows from seed per year for personal use. I'm going to trade him some dank for it or some SKunk Hz clones... but I don't think he's intereted in trying to manage a Sativa.

It's definately not near as good as AK-47 and I wouldn't pick up the 48 unless I didn't have access to better strains.

Depends on pheno ... I had a fruity smelling one, weird. AK-47 definitely smells more, and AK-48 definitely has more variation in it's phenos, I had some finish early as 7 weeks, and some that could easily go for 10 weeks...
But for the price of Nirvana's AK-48, it's a great product! ... If you're willing to pay the price, then Serious Seeds AK-47 is the way to go!

I have no personal experience with Nirvana also, but like REEFS, I have done research on them and they do not sound like the kind of site I would order from if I had a choice. Attitiude is a much better company if you're in the U.S.

I get all my seeds via The Attitude, including Nirvana seeds lol ... Nirvana is the best choice if your looking for cheap seeds in my opinion, they have good genetics that are reasonably stabilized considering the price! ... But I'm usually willing to pay for the superior genetics so I go for Green House Seeds, Serious Seeds and White Label/Sensi Seeds (I believe White Label is a sub-brand of Sensi, or the other way round?)

P.S - I've had about a 95% successful germination rate with Nirvana's seeds. But tis tru they're basically knock-offs of other strains, which would be why they're cheap!
