How is everyone getting so many plants in small tents?

Use to do 16 in a 4x4 and I knew a fella who did 25 in a 4x4. Just depends on how big you grow the plant. IMHO it's easier to do more small plants rather than a few bigger plants. However, so many states have restrictions on how many plants you can grow so people grow 5ft tall monsters instead of little 2 footers.
Some of us have been rocking gardens long before it was cool to do so and many of us have done this in states that mean you’re going away if people knew about it, so plant counts are shit

Here in my neck of Oz, It's outright illegal full stop to smoke, posess or grow, but that hasn't stopped me from growing multiple 5-6ft plants at a time, in a densely packed set of townhouses, right along the back fence lol.

Check out the proximity here.

What do you do about smell?
Luckily they have never smelt too much outside. I've had more people mention smell from the single auto or two I grow inside here and there.. it's strange. Nothing said over a few months of photo growth and flower, harvest over a kg, but get three weeks into flower in a tent, and people pick up on it pretty quickly.

A lot of people were and still unaware that I grow lol.

Nice! Great placement. Blends right in.
Especially those two at the back of the pool. Had family and work over for months, and noone noticed them lol.

Being so frowned upon here, I don't think people expect to see such large plants right there...they had some nice bud as well considering it's all bag seed. Must be feminised as I've grown 12 plants over two years and had no males. I'm surprised it hasn't been a nightmare.

Which leads me to my next question, how do you have 60rh where you live? Are you using an exhaust fan?
Lol.. I'm actually subtropical, and right beside the water, we just have dessert looking Texas/Mexico roofs here. It has been 90% for the last few weeks and 28-32c outside, with a lot of rain. Sometimes reads 100%. My tent usually sits at 70%, even with a 7L dehumidifier in the room, a roof fan on 3, a 6" exhaust setup, a fan in the tent and a few blocks of dessicant. Our average over the last six months calculated by out local meteorological station was 76% here.

I was damn proud of getting down to 60% humidity that day, but he plant was still dripping from a few leaves that were touching.

It has been an endless struggle. Had 2 plants go mouldy so far and lost around 700g this year, but that's what you get when you just throw seeds in dirt and hope for the best.

That really depends on your watering method. I used to water 24 pots by hand, then I'd have to go around with a shop vac hose and suck up each saucer. Fewer plants was definitely easier with that setup. Now I have flood trays with a drainage system and could easily tend to twice as many plants.

1 plant per 2x2 sq ft seems to work well and fits with most state legal plant limits and common tent sizes. I like to top my plants a lot to reduce the overall size of colas, thus reducing chance of bud rot. Vegetative growth time really determines yield in a given sq ft area. Sure, if you have a commercial license or you ignore plant limits because you secretly yearn for a Jean Claude Van Damme "Death Warrant" type prison experience, then go for a SOG! "I don't pay, I don't punk!"

I've always wondered how the legal plant count works. There isn't an inspector scoping people's rooms, right? Is the only way to get caught with too many plant the same way of getting caught in an illegal state: other shit going down that gives cops a reason to enter your home and snoop around?

I grow a garden every year so its great camouflage. Last year I had some over 10ft. Put them right in the pole beans. The smell was overwhelming. Good thing Im cool with all my neighbors. They couldnt wait for harvest.
