How I get flat trays to drain in my SOG

I was trying to figure out a way to get the runoff from my hempy buckets to drain out of my drip trays in my tents. I propped them up from the back so they'd be at an angle but I was still getting puddles in some areas that wouldn't drain.

So I decided to string some nylon rope around the trays and through the drain holes in the trays. The rope acts like a wick and within an hour all of the puddles drain through the rope into the catch pails.

Simple, effective and super cheap.

Although its from may I'd be scared about those wicks being wet just sitting in my grow space.

There has got to be 20 of them in there. If nothing else it must smell pretty bad.

good point! doesn't really solve the problem..
i have been looking to make my own trays.. but i think it is better just to buy the best available size trays..

In the morning I go in and empty the jug, it's actually 3 jugs atm but the principle is the same slightly elevated and a piece of capillary mating

The tray itself is left dry after half an hour, recently I've got a data logger and can see that feeding only puts up the rh% by around 00.04%
