Well I woke up to unfortunate news that my bagseed shriveled up today. It was about 5 days after its germination.
There's no photos to show due to technical difficulties atm but, I did keep a grow journal. Hopefully you won't ever go through my (embarassing) experience. In exchange I get some feed back for future grow.
For the first 5 days I germinated 3 seeds that came off some Trainwreck I purchased. I went straight to paper towel method and placed it in a 7 Inch record plastic sleeve to create humidity. 1 managed to sprout. (I'll take what I can thank you very much) the other two molded.
After that 1 seed sprouted I planted it into a solo cup (no cut bottom holes) with some soil from 99 cent store. I water roughly 5 oz and let it be underneath a 75 watt halogen flood phillips that was about 12 inches away.
Day 3 into its cup it sprouted. No extra solution though I really wanted in the back of my mind. Its light cycle had been on 24 throughout.
Day 4 I housed the plant into imo a pretty cool stealth grow. I used my old about 4` 1\2 speaker housing. This is where I began to fail. after noticing soil at the top was drying I replenished it. I brought the light significantly closer about 5 inches closer. I figure with the oscillating fan now in place it'll do some lst to it... but hind sight it was in fact too close and with it being watered it drooped to its side later that evening.
To remedy this I added some soil to be up position. and i thought itd heal itself...
Day 5 come this morning it shriveled up due to a combination of heat stress and shock with its change in enviornment.
So I'm bummed out folks... but you live and learn.
