How Hot is too Hot?

My grow room is exceedingly hot and a bit humid. I'm looking for a few specifics in temperature range and humidity level that one potted plant can sustain. I'm looking to set fans and use a good circulation vent system for support, however I'd like to know at which point will I simply just burn my plant. Appreciate the tips !

I'm also interested in this as i have a pretty warm grow room(low to mid 80s) i just got a ventilation system thats helping a bit, I'm hoping the addition of an oscillating fan in the box will help do the trick though

Well im dealing with mid 90's without any venting or air flow. So im looking for a pretty intense air power-flow, so any ideas on paticular hardware, im all ears.

I cant grow indoors in the summer months because of the heat. Try to blow or suck some hot air out and cool air in. Thats all one can do. Put your lights on 18/6 or so and have lights on in the cool time where ya live.

Wow I freak out when my temps go above 80f but thats just me, 90s!! your asking for problems, but im sure that some plants can handle that, I mean this shit does grow all over the world right, well maybe not outdoors in the Antartica, How fucking cool would it be to see a thread like that, "My first outdoor grow in Antartica", LMAO:blsmoke: sorry just stoned!!

still interested in an answer to this, my room reached 90 today and i still havent added my extra lights. Guess I'll have to get more powerful ventilation fans, but its pretty warm in the room to begin with so really worried about heat as summer approaches. Right now i have 2 small pc cooling fans, 1 intake 1 exhaust, I was thinking making both exhaust fans and having a large passive intake might help, any opinions on that?

I'm also gunna combat the heat by putting into flowering in about a week and change the light cycle so they're on at night, hopefully that helps a crapload

honestly i have reached 120 before out of 12 plants 8 lived through it, i hit 100 regularly, i know it affects yield but i do get a decent amount of smoke -- i put the likets on 16/8 starting the dark cycle at 9am coming up aroudn 5. I am going to purchase a indoor air conditioner if i need to in the next month.

What are you growing? I've just set my greenhouse up so I'm going to start off with just two shwag potted plants to check situations that could occur when I upgrade my quality of plant.

Also, which fans did you find worked well with venting and moving such a thick air of heat?

I'm at 110 F and 33% Humidity. NO problems so far. Not the greatest growth rates, but its healthy and the leaves feel nice and solid. Also looks to be female so I must be doing something right.

I would be freaking out man, Freaking out, if my room was that hot.

I am always aiming for mid 70s and start to get stessed if it goes over 83. I have lots of fans, and I just made a DIY glass pannel for my lights, that helped loads. In the next few days I will start to run a dedicated air line threw the lights to father reduce temps. 74 is perfect.

Man guy's,get those temps down to around 80 degrees & you'll see a big difference.

Dealing with high temps is not that big of an issue to correct,no matter the grow op,you just need to try different things, those computer muffin fans are useless, throw them out & get either squirell cage fans or inline fans.

Get em down to 80 for an entire grow & after you see the massive difference you'll never let temps hit past 90 again.

Indoor A/C... vented out a covered window. That's what I have and my room temp stays between 74-81 F

It was an expensive item... I think I paid $300.... and you have to stay on top of emptying the drain pan... but overall TOTALLY worth it to keep the room a nice temp for the babies. The one thing I don't like about the A/C is that if the power goes out.... it doesn't turn back on when the power comes back on.... you have to manually turn it back on.

Hope that helps :D

It's my first time...I'm allowed to mess up a little right? Simply cant vent anywhere in the house or out...too close to neighbors, and don't wanna do any structural damage. Perhaps a wall Ac a few grows on down.

LOL! Polar pot, nice- it'd probably have some nice milky looking buds with pale leaves. At least you wouldn't have to worry about lighting systems, ventilation for the sake of smells or legal issues :D

any suggestion on one of these thats relatively quite and wont break the bank. Doesn't have to be too power full, Grow box is less than 10 cubic feet. Key here is price, kinda broke right now unfortunately and still have to buy some flowering lights too. Either way, thanks for the info
