How gay is your neighbor?? (just kidding what is best way to store buds??)

food saver, cool dark place, but buds still degrade over time. some dont mind those effects though.
tasty years later, but "bricked"

so if you put it in a jar, then sealed the jars in vac bag, then another vac bag, then maybe a third. Will it degrade and be bricked?

I realize thats not the most optimal for space... but...

Yes, it will degrade. No question. Entropy is returning us all to stardust. Light, oxygen, heat, and humidity all play a role in degradation. Personally, I spray the outside of large mason jars with black chalkboard paint and store my flowers in them with 62 RH Boveda packs in a cool dark cupboard. If I could nitrogen pack, I would.

Im 3x 1000w's in and im still smoking faster then long cure length LOL. Better add a few more fking lights. budes are burnt to ash in no time.

nothin better then that free pack. period. ill take free pack over sex ANY DAY. Only thing that could be better is winning the LOTO lol.

No, you need to get the oxygen out of the jar. It does no good to vac seal a jar in a bag if you haven't removed the O2 in the jar.

I still have some great buds from my 2015 outdoor harvest-grown in 5 gallon DWC buckets BTW...after trimming and rack drying for 3-4 days, I put them in paper bags for another 4-7 days and then into mason jars with 2 Boveda 62 packs in each. I only open a jar as I need to and, when I do, I get a nice popping sound as the seal is broken. The buds are still nice and sticky and have a great smell. The cones I roll stay lit on their own for a good 15-20 minutes...now that's some great cured smoke. Most of the plants were harvested by the middle of October 2015, so that makes well over a year that these buds have been stored and curing...

I had buds around a year in mason jars with a boveda pack .... But weed is to be smoked not stored for years. To me buds PEAK at around 6-8 months cured.

I've tried it at various stages along the way and it hasn't seemed to lose any potency, in fact it seems like it's gotten stronger. The taste improves as well...at least to me anyway. I love growing and usually give away more than I could possibly smoke.

You are correct ... Time is the Main ingredient to a killer cure , but since i rotate personal stock ... The longest i ever kept was about 8 oz of afgooey for a year and a couple months ... They were kept locked in the back of a cabinet like jarred pickles.

I think the fact that I hate buying weed causes me to always have some growing...either in a tent in the garage or outside when the weather permits...the upside of that is I always have weed to give to my friends.

The longest I've kept weed so far is about 18 months. It does change color a bit after such a long time.
