How far would someone smell a plant of weed. READ.

ok so I am germinating my 2 seeds atm and am going to grow 1 or 2 of them inside/outside. How far will it start to smell? Like everyone in my neighbor hood is old (60s yrs old ish or older) and I live up on a mountain in California. will 1 plant or 2 smell? If i have it in a PC grow box and have 1-2 Fans blowing by it with some air fresheners will it be noticeable to people who dont really know what weed smells like? also I haven't seen a cop on my street ever since where we live. Will it be safe? also what a very strong air freshener to use to cover up the smell for inside.

What I am growing is 2/1 Californian Orange
BTW, Everyone here grows plants. Like 7/10 people have gardens full of plants and the outside of their house got plants.

You'll find that air fresheners get the smell out the quickest, but they also last the shortest amount of time. You'll be spraying every hour just to keep the smell at bay. If smell is such a concern you're going to want to look at carbon filters or ona gel. I doubt the smell will escape the building you live in, but during flowering it will likely stink up the entire residence. If you live in an apartment and you leave you window open for instance, your neighbors will smell it for sure.

It's never going to be "safe" if what you're doing is illegal. There's always that off chance that someone may notice. It's a risk vs. reward thing. So in short, if you don't mind baby sitting the plants pretty much 24/7 any air freshener will work. If not you're going to have to look at something that does it for you.

Aight, I am going to get some automatic air fresheners. Also I live on a mountain and Leads down to a freeway like 150-200 feet away which will blow the wind their and wont be noticeable because who smells outside while driving on the freeway they most likely just drive by the smell within 10 seconds.

PS: Summer break so I will be baby sitting my plants or be playing some xbox. I am at home 95% of the time.
