How far should my led be from seedlings

Let's start off by saying I bought the top of the line equipment even though this is my first time growing. With that lies my issue, I don't know how far my light should be from seedlings.

Equipment:
HLG scorpion diablo 650 the updated version
Ac infinity t6 w controller
Echomes humidifier
2 oscillating fans
Ac infinity 4x4 grow tent

I have done extensive research but I just can't come away with a clear answer and I decided to turn to this forum for help.

It is to my understanding that seedlings should be in an environment that consists of atleast 77°F w 50-60 percent humidity. Where I'm stuck is how far should my light be from my seedlings (seeds get here Monday) and at what intensity?

I would start seeds under a milder light, or lower down the % of that one a lot and raise it up. Do you have a light meter by any chance? I found a $30 lux meter from Amazon to be a huge help in dialing in my led when I got it (PAR meter too rich for my blood right now.) Once your plants have a few nodes you could probably turn that light to 40 or 50%, but have it raised up in your tent as high as it will go. Honestly, I've grown my best seedlings under t5s, then carefully moved them over to the big light, watching for light stress. Better to start with too little light than too much when you get a new, powerful LED...they are strong!

The light is adjustable in increments of 10 percent. For example 10%, 20%,30% so on and so forth. You mentioned a lux meter, I have one on hand. What would you say is the optimal lux from the top of my seedlings and I'll adjust accordingly?

That's a sweet light. I love my HLG's. 5000-7000 lux according to this. I found a free app for my phone that works decent.

Thank you both for helping me out immensely!! According to my lux meter this at this height with 17% ish power is equivalent to 7000 Lux. I will follow this Lux guideline throughout my whole grow. Thanks so much!!

Hey my man I’m new to the forum and not sure if this is still active but I have the same light. Just curious what height and intensity you have found success with? Thank you in advance!! Unfortunately I don’t have a lux meter but I’m going to order one.
