How far should light be?

My lights are 20 inches away right now. Getting a few red stems and such wondering if they are to close or what? Running 2 1000watt bestvas. 110 wall output on each.

Ok cool thank you! I had it at 16in away but the tips started turning yellow a day after so i put it to 20in. See your all over this thread got another question. I stunted my plants by watering to much first 2 weeks so they are 3 weeks 2 days now and only 6in tall. Growing good now other than needing fed. How much bigger do you think they will get? They are auto bubblegum "supposed" to be 55-65 days. And gorilla glue which is same.

Those lights are damned good lights. They’re going to stay fairly compact under them. Try raising the lights first. Also some strains just never get tall. Taller in flower than veg but not big plants.

Yea they are i got mine for super cheap only 2 left in stock of the 2021 models got them both for $90 cant beat that! I was wondering if maybe i had them to close at first and they just didnt stretch but i realized i stunted their growth went into lockout real early in life. Lol but live and learn!

Had to put an overflow flowering plant in my seedling and cloning tent this year. That plant was perfect at chop. Beautiful colors and hard buds. I was impressed. I use the Bestva for those purposes at present.
 
I have the bestva 3000w blurple. I noticed the closer it is to the plants the better. Its really only hot 6 inches down from the diodes. I would imagine yours is even cooler. I'd get 10 inches and work from there
