How far does pollen 'walk'? +rep

I've been working with a pollen isolation setup that hasn't worked out.
So I'm considering letting my male flower out, but will it screw my grow?

Here's the layout, one female in a grow chamber in one room.
Male plant in another chamber/room, about 30 feet away on other end of a hall.
Doorways on both rooms are recessed, so a bit of isolation there.
My plan is to collect pollen, then change clothes and shower after.
I don't think the pollen will 'walk' that far. But I'm not sure.
So +rep for any similar experiences, good or bad.

Not sure how far it will "walk", BUT i have an experience that might help you out.

A few grows ago I let a Hermie get by me for a little while. It ended up dropping some pollen and did seed a little bit that grow.
Im now 4 months removed from that and I still get a few seeds (2-10 seeds) from some plants, just a couple. Nothing besides clones has entered my flowering chamber since I had the hermie get by me. Yet there's still some pollen floating around in there thats seeding female plants. Im kinda happy, I have a nice selecion of seeds now, and my plants NEVER get heavily seeded, just a few here and there.

So I guess that with pollen a little goes a long way.

4 months, wow! great info, +rep for that
but that is exactly what i can live with, a few seeds
if that's the consequences, i'll be fine with that
from what they tell us, 4 months seems hard to understand, but it's out of my experience, you saw what you saw
thanks again!
