12 1000w hps lights. Wondering how far do you guys/gals space your lights from each other.
Hi, 12000 W? Wow, def not below 3 ft. it should do 32 plants eh
how far apart do you place your 1000 watt lights?I seriously doubt this guy has 12 1000w lights if he's asking newbie questions like this. lol
1000watt lights normal footprint is 5×5 grow area.12 1000w hps lights. Wondering how far do you guys/gals space your lights from each other.
Yeah normally you should have 5X5 between all the lights you can get away with a 4x4 area if you have good air circulation. but by no means 3ft that is just wasted light1000watt lights normal footprint is 5×5 grow area.
If youre gonna spend this amount of money to grow, I suggest learning the basics before spending your $$.
Why is that?Yeah normally you should have 5X5 between all the lights you can get away with a 4x4 area if you have good air circulation. but by no means 3ft that is just wasted light
there are three parts the answer your going to have to be more specificWhy is that?
he saying a 1100 watt covers a 5x5 (which it does not(4x4) but that you should hang them in 5x5 tiles in your grow space.there are three parts the answer your going to have to be more specific
Why is 3ft apart a waste of light?there are three parts the answer your going to have to be more specific
Why is 3ft apart a waste of light?
Hence why I said "your grow style;" implying that in your grow it might not work, but in mine, it works fine.because the light would overlap each other giving the outside plants more light then the inside. plus if dont have air cooled hoods its going to get really hot
Again why?if you need to do this change to a smaller light 400-600
probably not, and even if it did why would you want to waste more power when you could use a 400-600w and get the same results if not betterHence why I said "your grow style;" implying that in your grow it might not work, but in mine, it works fine.
So you say less intensity of light will make for better growth?probably not, and even if it did why would you want to waste more power when you could use a 400-600w and get the same results if not better
