How exactly do you feed Auto-Flower plants?

I've been researching a lot, and I don't really understand. Every thread I read has different regimens.

I've never grown autos before, and it's been over 10 years since I've grown even a tomato. I have most of my supplies gathered.

I have a 4'x4' area sit up, with a light rack that's max height is 6'. It's all in a spare bedroom. I have a carbon filter, a few fans, and a de/humidifier. I keep my thermostat on 72F 24/7 so don't think temps should be a problem. I have 4 CFL bulbs with reflectors, 100W each. I plan to use the 6500K during seed/veg and the 2700K during flowering. I got air-pruning 5 gallon pots. I plan to either grow 4 or 6 plants. I've gotten FoxFarm Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom fertilizer. Not sure what soil to get. I plan to add compost tea to it. I bought a gallon of liquid organic compost from a local farmer's market. It's a mix of earthworm castings, various bird shit, and seaweed. The NPK ratio in it is 0.05-0.1-0.05. Thinking off adding 2 1/2 cups to each pot, and some perlite. I plan to use LST on the veg stage after 2-3 weeks.

Should I follow the FoxFarm feeding schedule? I only plan to grow Indica dominant strains. I ordered Northern Lights and OG Kush by Royal Queen. I'm growing for myself, and my Brother. I live in Colorado so I think we're legal up to 12 plants. I'm hoping to get 1-2 ounces per plant each harvest.

Fox farm.. I use 25% the recommended dose of fox farm. With good outcome . Averaged 4 oz per plant. Every other water. And that's after a few weeks of straight water.

All plants are different some strains or phenos are more sensitive then others! Best bet it starting off slow till you find the sweet spots. .

Yep best thing. Start slow with nutes. Your compost and other additives add a punch also. They do have trace elements so go slow. As stated if you have done your research, yes AUTOS are more sensitive overall to nutes rates. FIND THAT SWEET SPOT FOR YOUR STRAINS! Ya I know man it sucks, but this is a LEARN AND GROW thing here. We all go thru it.

Thanks guys.

FoxFarm says to start Big Bloom from the start 6tsp per gallon, then 3tsp after 4 weeks. I'm thinking of doing 2tsp then 1 once it begins to flower.

It says to take Grow Big 2tsp per gallon starting the 2nd week. I plan to do that, but 1tsp.

And Tiger Bloom says 2 tsp/gallon starting week 5. I'm gonna do 1tsp when it starts flowering.

Since I'm adding compost and using air pruned pots, would I need anything like VooDoo Juice?

Also, is panda film safe? I made a 4x4x6 frame out of steel pipes to hang my lights on and I was thinking of enclosing it in something on 3 sides.

Your regime for your auto sounds good to me. But are you sure these are AUTOS? Just checking. At the same time you want to know your PPMs. Do you have a tool for this? I am able to buy any nute product with my grows. Thing is you want to know your true strength of nutes. So having a PPM reader is necessary! I will break it down if you need to get a good idea.

Yea panda film is safe. Ive tried mylar. Which is effective, put we are growing indoors and want to mimic outside natural light. So I switched to a reflective white. Which does not create hot spots and reflects white light back(white holds all colors in the spectrum).

Yeah, I've ordered a meter for that. I'm planning to do bubbleponics. It'd be cheaper than ordering a ton of soil made for cannabis off the internet. I got the pumps for cheap at a pet store.

I got a question about ventilation. My reflector is AC but it has no glass under the bulb. If I go carbon filter, light, fan, window, would it even suck through the carbon filter when the hole in the reflector comes first? If you understand what I mean.

Wow. lol...And the famous switch up comes. You might as well try both. Soil/Hydro...Just saying. If your room is kept at 72F, you should have no problem with heat anyway. Plus you have all of your room to have heat radiated into. On top of that your using CFLs.
You have a reflector with holes on both sides or what?

:dunce: Come on dude are u serious with these questions?
4x4x6 set area! In a spare room! CFLS! FANS!

Yea you could hook it up as you stated. But that would be a waste of energy and pressure. If you understand what I mean...lol
Whats the CFM of your fan?

Simple is as simple does man,---

Oh, forgot to mention I got some HID bulbs instead. I couldn't run everything if I ran a bunch of CFLs. My circuit breaker would shut the room off.

I ordered a 8" Max Fan by Can. 675 CFM.

Let me summarize.

I've ordered
Radiant 8" Reflector
8" Max Fan by Can
Ducting, flanges, etc.
Phantom II 1000W Ballast
SunMaster 1000W MH/HPS bulbs
Gorilla 8x4 Grow Tent
Water/Air Pump and Airstone
5-Gallon bucket hydroponic kit
Portable AC Window Kit (for running ducting out the window)

I've ordered most of it from Monster Gardens and HTG Supply. Got the hydroponic stuff from a pet store and the ducting from Lowe's. The hydroponics stuff cost me less than $30. That's about 1 bag of Fox Farm soil. And it'll be a hell of a lot easier to clean up and start new seeds after harvest.

Yet to buy
Seeds
Grow medium/Rockwool
Nutrients
Carbon filter
Portable AC (if needed)
Dehumidifier/Humidifier (if needed)

Still don't fully understand how auto feeding schedules differ from photo-period, and not sure what size carbon filter to get. If it turns out I don't need to keep any AC or other large machine in the tent, I'm gonna buy another 1000W lamp for the other half. House runs off of solar, so no worries there. My biggest worry is eliminating smell before it leaves the window and not letting it get too hot.

Gone head and put the AC in the tent. 675cfm is good for that heat from the light. Together in the tent equals good venalation. That light is going to throw out some good heat. The FAN and AC will balance the heat. Ofcourse get a Carbon filter that fits the 8'', carbon filter should be bout 12'. The AC has ducting. So set it up like this. light----ducting---cfm fan. AC----window.

Auto flower usually doesn't show preflowers til about 3-4wks into. So you need to feed veg nutes and switch to flowering nutes during growth
