How easy is this bong to clean?

Hi guys! I hope I am posting in the right section.

I want to buy a new bong and I have always wanted a percolated one, but I always thought they must be extremely difficult to clean. This is the model I am interested in:

What do you guys think? Is it worth the price? How difficult would it be to clean it, and what would I use? Just regular alcohol + salt or alcohol + rice?

The alternative would be this one, which comes with an ashcatcher

Thanks!

I have a similar piece and it's pretty easy to clean with alcohol and salt. Get the one with no carb hole. IDK why you would want that on a GonG piece.

True carbs on bongs is so 80's.... perc bongs are a bitch if you dont constantly keep it clean....yo can buy a straigh tube bong and add diffused downstems and percolated ash catchers to get extra bubble... trust me i am a 100% bong smoker...for ever.... i have smoked out of most brands and styles and the straight tube 7mm glass is the way to go... i got a genie bong for cheap as hell and it wont break...

Dont get me wrong, i love the perc trees and extra filtration but a person like me who smokes over an 1/8 a day in the bong....it becomes very tedious cleaning every other day...

Thanks! But why do you say it shouldn't have a carb? I've only owned bongs with carbs and so far they've all been great! If it didn't have a carb I would have to pull out the bowl after every hit, right? Isn't that unnecessary extra work, not to mention the possibility of the handle heating up and you burning your finger (I don't know if it actually does heat up)?

Thanks! I have only been smoking around a gram or so per day, do you think it still would become a hassle? Do the slits get clogged often?

The slits are usually coverrd in water thus no clog but above where dry smoke is hanging out is where a film will buold up and that gets tricky to clean if you dont stay on top of it...

But i have owned them in the past and love the draws because they are slightly pressured for a slower pull... when your snapping entire bowls it helps conserve breath..
I just didnt dig the maintenance..

Also to answer the question about the carb for you.... a tight seal all the way to the hole in which you smoke from is better than having another airflow site like a carb reducing pressure which makes for a shittier hit....glass on glass 18mm slides if you want master hits and dont want to have to clean your bowl hole so often. I smoke bowl after bowl and never burned my finger pulling out a bowl its almost just as easy as lifting your finger for a better rip..

done using alcohol to clean my bongs....i use a products called green glass clean. i add water to my bong or perk, squirt some green glass clean in to give the water some color and let it sit over night sometimes 2 nights if its really bad and in the morning i can pretty much just run water through it and it just blows all the crap right out of it. love the stuff, gonna clean my bubbler tonight with it actually.
