At any time you want.

I used to wait to top or train and then strated trying it on smaller plants and it works.

Though it's kind of hard to lst those small plants.

Are you going to too at all? I would just pinch the top off and let it start growing new tops and training them. If done right they won't miss a beat.

I might not top I have very little time my time over here is reducing daylight by 2 mins every other day so soon they’ll be flowering , although I do have 5 seedlings so I might experiment with one

True but cannabis will veg 4-6 weeks from seed regardless of light schedule. It has to be sexually mature to flower.

It might be worth topping some of them.

Get them in the ground or the biggest pots you can and give them the room to grow roots.

If possible you can bring them inside during the night for one hour under lights and delay flowering until you want them to. Gas light routine. The one hour light in the middle of the night causes them to stay in veg longer.

Also can somebody tell me what is this leaf curling up on the topped seedling , I don’t know if it’s due to heat stress or something else , all my seedlings catch the same sunlight same time they got more then 8 hours of direct sunlight everyday And when can I start giving her nutes ? Here there are the other (2 are not seedlings so they would no be posted )

I haven’t yet , the soil I use is MG moisture control npk 9-6-4
Is a slow released feeding soil ph of soil alone is 7 but I adjust my water to PH 6.0/6.5 can someone give me some advice I also have MG all purpose food plant as nutes ? Any advice OG’s

Jay,
I'll tell you my perspective. But you probably won't like it. I feel seeds should be started in a very mild "seedling" soil mix. Then transplanted up to richer soil as it grows.

By starting in time-release nutrient soil...you lost control. It is very risky and shall I say...a total no no to add nutrients on top of such soil. So work at getting a good wet/dry cycle going and let them grow. The nutrient in the soil is released by watering...so very careful to not overwater.
Gonna stop there...more questions?

thanks that helped me a lot so I’ll cut back on the watering because I water every 2-3 days I won’t water till at least and inch of soil is dry , and one more question can u check out this plant and tell me what’s wrong with leaves idk if it’s heat stress or something else I also topped her for experiment here she is

Jay,
Rather then sticking your finger into the soil...train yourself to get a feel for the weight of the pot when dry. It's the best way. Some particularly anal guys will actually weigh the pot.

I feel like I have nothing positive to tell you.

That plant looks similar in color to your others. Same soil I assume. My guess is that that soil may be out of ph range a little. Or the other possibility is that too much nutrient has been released into the soil and has toxified it. Thus blocking proper nutrient absorption.

I'm going to tell you what I might try if the plant were mine. Since they obviously need more N, perhaps next time you water...water the hell out of it to release some of those nutes.

But I also would have some better soil available in case you need an emergency transplant. It is possible though a little traumatic. The gentlest way is to fill up a tub with water (warm if possible) and gently wash all the old soil off.

Watch the leaf tips for yellowing or browning. That's nutrient burn and if you see that after watering...then I'd do the transplant to give it new and better soil.

Thanks and my oh soil is in 6.5 so I know there getting their nutes maybe they need a little more next feeding , I will do that and yes I know about the burnt tips thanks for the reminder and advice

Not really because when it gets dry it starts to fluffy up it’s mix with lots of perlite I know clay Nd mud soils is bad especially for root development
Rough as in a rough soil to use for growing MJ. Every time you water you're releasing more nutrients. I'm not trying to put you down but you would have been better off with organic patio soil than that stuff. Stay away from MG when it comes to pot.

Alright I understand now I’ll use better soil next time so , basically just becareful with my watering because every time I do it releases nutes , btw I just mean regular adjusted PH water
