How does this look

Am beginning a new grow and want input on my plan. My third grow so still newbie--ish. Other grows never completed due to over anxiousness of spouse who wanted to taste way too early and of course got ugly chemical high.... no longer a problem

12 gallon Igloo with two 5" net pots. Plan to plant two White Widow feminized in one net and two Amnesia Haze feminized in the other. Probably need to trim the Amnesia a little during veg to keep them the same height as the WW.

Using Rapid Rooter with heating pad. I have two lights. One is a CFL tube 150W, 6400k. The other is an Agromax 400w HPS. 2200k.

Grow room is a 10 x 10 foot with the grow area about 3 x 3 feet. Plan to place a windshield reflector around grow to maximize light.

Using Pure Blend Pro and Pure Blend Bloom nutrients. Have ppm reader and ph balance equipment.

So, should I use the CFL for the seedlings and how soon should I put the light on them and how close? Should I switch over to the HPS before flowering or wait to flowering stage? How far should I keep the light?

Finally, Should I use an EZCO2 Production Bag to help the grow and will a 264 gph water pump be sufficient? Thanks...

Sooo all your questions are easily answered via a quick google. No point adding co2 until you know what you're doing, and would a 264 gph water pump be sufficient for what?

Biggest mistake I see is even considering planting multiple plants in one pot. And then having two different, untested and unknown strains in same small dwc rarely works well.

Oops, my mistake. I thought that this was a forum about growing pot where a person could get answers to their questions without being told to go google it..... Perhaps some insight about WHY there is no point in adding CO2 until you know what you are doing would be a little more helpful? I believe the question about what type of pump to use is easily understood as anyone who understands DWC knows what a submersible pump is used for and can easily grasp why I asked the question by reading the description of my stated plan... That is why I posted here after all... maybe I should ask my questions on another forum?

Yeah I wouldn't put more than one plant in a net pot (just to avoid the two plants competing with each other for height/light if nothing else).

By CFL tube, do you mean a T5 and is that 150w true watts or equivalent watts? Either way, you should have them under lights as soon as they break surface. Just be sure you don't fry/stress the seedlings with heat from the bulb - otherwise, you'll want fluorescent lighting as close as you can get them to the plants (within inches).

You could run both for flowering.

Wouldn't bother with Co2 unless you have a sealed growing area and a ventilation system designed for Co2 use.

Unless you are running a recirculating DWC system, I'd go with an air pump instead of a water pump (submersible pumps will heat up your reservoir).

So, I should only plant one plant per net pot of the same strain and not be concerned with co2 or submersible pumps. That is interesting about the pumps heating up the reservoir, never would have thought of that.

This is the type of CFL I have. So, I should use it during veg with it as close to the plants as possible without burning them then use the HPS and the CFL together for flowering?

I personally would use them both. CFLs are great to start plants off with but I would also start running the HPS as well when the plants are big enough (even during vegetative growth).

How big should the plants be before adding the HPS? Do I hang the CFL off to one side after adding the HPS or even hang it sideways and alternate the sides of the plant it is on? I figure that I would want the HPS directly above the plants.

That would work great (keeping the CFL close and the HPS flooding). Might as well wait on the HPS though until they are out of the seedling stage and starting throwing out a lot of secondary growth or 'bushing up'.
