9-18-10 (week one): planted seven seeds in one A/G in A/G cages and pods. Seeds are believed to be three to five years old stored in the refrigerator crisper. Seeds were left in darkness for twenty-four hours. Garden was filled with filtered water only.
9-19-10: Installed small air pump and stone and lights were set to Tomatoes schedule under two lamps hood with new bulbs.
9-22-10: five seeds sprouted but one grew into a circle and broke when I tried to straighten it. Other four are okay. Obviously two different strains. Lights were set at twenty hours on and four hours off.
9-23-10: started seedlings on Technafloras recipe for success seedling/cutting formula.
9-25-10: End of week one.
9-29-10: fed again with seedling nutes after cleaning reservoir and installed fan on low speed from morning wake up until three thirty thirty pm..
9-30-10: reduced light one hour to nineteen on and five off.
10-2-10: end week two
10-5-10: Changed nutes and washed reservoir. Lower leaves were browning and I assumed they might have nute burn and need to be flushed if condition persists.
10-8-10: end week three. Reduced light by one hour to eighteen on and six off. Plants starting to veg nicely to rich green.
10-9-10: end week three
10-10-10: pruned lower primary leaves that were browning. Plants are 4 1/2 and 6 inches tall.
10-16-10: end of week four. Reduced light to seventeen on and seven off. Trans planted two shorter plants to second A/G and left two taller in first A/G. Installed upgrade kits and retired two lamp hoods and supports to garage. Installed new lamps in upgrade kits. Installed bigger aquarium air pump and split line to both A/Gs. Started veg formula.
10-18-10: Installed Co2 generator and attached hose end to fan.
10-23-10: end of week five. Reduced light to sixteen and eight. Plants look big enough to force flowering. Should still be four more weeks to flowering.
10-25-10: Fresh Co2 added. Topped the tallest of the plants by two and a half inches to keep light in sink with both. Its recovering nicely.
10-30-10: installed reflectors using Mylar glued to waffle fixture lenses. Plants are one foot and seventeen inches tall respectively. Two tallest are in one A/G and the two shortest are in the other. When plants are 24 inches tall Ill force flowering and reduce lighting to 12/12, hopefully itll be on the proposed schedule suggested by my teacher. Date submission sent.
