How does the bud timeline work from start to finish???

I have read quite a bit but am wondering when to do what? I mean when does week one start when the seedling pops out of the dirt? Or is that day 1? How do you know how long to Veg and how long to Bloom. Do you count the days as like every seven days is a week. I am using foxfarm. So Should I not use Veg notes for the first 4 weeks, or 28 days? After that should I just start with bloom notes, or is it too early for them? Do I bloom for the second 28 days or month roughly? I am assuming I'll be done in maybe 10 weeks or so with an auto flower strain? Thanks for your thoughts in advance. maybe someone has posted sort of a timeline on what to do when for a plants entire life cycle?

Dude, you gotta do a lot more reading but i'll help out with a little info i have learned here over the years, first off dont give no nutrients to seedling until they tell you they are finish with the nutrients that came in the seed. normally you first signal is when your seed leaves(the first set of round leaves that come up from the seed) start dieing its a sign that there is no nutrients left within its seed to sustain new growth and are using whats in the seed leaves. Second vegetating time is all up to you personally I veg for about 5-8 weeks just because I have the space to accommodate the size. Just be cautious some strains do grow 100% of their size from when they where triggered to bloom. But again do some more reading there is a wealth of knowledge on RIU and up to you to take it in. Hope that helped and good luck "rolling".

you can veg as much or as little as you want, some people grow 12/12 light cycle from seed or rooted clone.
the longer you veg for the bigger the plant will get.
some plants can get 2-3x bigger than they are at the time you switch to 12/12 lights on/lights off.
it ultimately depends on the amount of space you have to grow the plants in.
the amount of light you are giving them, the size of the pot they are in, and other factors come into play as well.

Read, Read, Read!! can't stress it enough... like others have pointed out there are so many different factors, I am not sure you can time line in general.. .maybe strain wise and you also have auto flowering strains as well.. good luck. oh, Fox Farm schedule says to veg for 4 weeks, but you do not have to do this (as others have pointed out)... just keep the veg nute regiment going until you would like to turn to flowering.. flush, then start Fox Farm flowering regiment (If you purchased the trio as I have) Hope this helps.

Those buying tips help. I am relay looking for small plants. So I am assuming I don't want to veg very large as I'm told to expect double the plants vegetative size in bloom?
