Why is it, every seed i have ever planted it comes out with the shell stuck on it or looking really weird, i recently had this seedling sprout 2 days ago, and the shell is still on stuck on top, its been like this for 2 days and nothing has been happening what should i do?

Also how do my other babies look, they have been planted outside for about 3 weeks now! Mississauga-20120519-03027.jpg

take a pair of sanitized tweazers and gently pull away the shell and protective layer. I have to do this sometimes with my seedlings.

The other plant looks ok for 3 weeks. Come october you should have some nice dense buds growing outdoors! Good luck

An even easier way to do it is to apply one drip of water to the shell+seedling. It will fall of within like 30secs on its own once it absorbs the water. I know this because I once decapitated a seedling with tweezers :p

I think it has to do with not burying the seed far enough. As it rises out of the soil it scrapes the shell off. No worries though, just carefully remove the shell off the ones that can't shed it itself.

I think it is due to not planting deep enough. Happened with me my first time. The casing is loosened as it travels through the soil.

I removed the shell with tweazers and it doesn't look so good. the seedling fallen over, i didnt wanna remove it from the soil so i just left it how it was, think it'll survive?

o dear god 2 days and nothing is happening dude lets see your a pot grower not a gardener. tip one SLOW DOWN plants do nothing for weeks sometimes just sit back and wait. dont panic over browning either unless you put to much shit on your plants.
