Ok heres 3 weeks into flowering. Im new to growing, so this looks amazing to me... Is this potent looking marijuana or just average looking?

It's a bit to early to be saying how potent it looks. There are alot of trichromes already visible but not more than normal so im not sure. But it sure looks healthy as hell. Peace, Happy Growing

Wow guys im really shocked with your replies! Thanks for the compliments! Indica... So this stuff is gonna give me that dozey, stoney high? Also i just read that foil can cause many burn spots. Is it really that bad? Heres one more pic zoomed in!

yeah, I was wondering the same, how bad is it to use foil?

There's some debate (don't get em started!) so if you're using foil, only change if you're getting burnt spots on the plants - just my advice.
And yeah, apparently indicas give a more stoney smoke, but the point at which you harvest is also very important in determining this

what else can you use instead of foil?

What are the different options i have for harvesting? I want the bud to be as stoney as i can make it!

foils ok if you can get it really smooth /straight on your walls ,the reason you can get heat spots is when it crumples and concentrates the light on one spot on the plant.

looks like its growing under CFl's..3 weeks U say? give it another 2 or so before you REALLY see some COLA's...
