How does it look? Ready to go?

Hi Friends!

My second grow is coming to an end, growing royal critical autoflower.

67 days aka, 9.5 weeks today!

The seed vendor declares that the harvest should be during the 8/9 week, I know obviously how this.is just an indication and change from case to case..

How far do u think is she? Ready to harvest or should I wait more?

I'm heavily colour blind and it's really hard for me to understand when it's time to harvest by changing colors and shades  :-(

Get a jeweler's loop and look at the crystals on the calyxs. If they look like water bubbles nowhere near done
If cloudy (no longer clear like water) your in picking zone. If crystal gets dark top don't wait until more than 20% of the crystals have darkened..

Hairs realy dont say jack. Ive had strains in the past that if you wait for hair color change your crystals have already ambered up

I gotta say they look very healthy! Great job! Yes as SidV said grab a $10 jeweler's loupe and put it to your phone camera and take some zoomed in pics of the trichomes so we can all take a look together.

I know it's the most asked question!

I always look at the other answer to try to improve and avoid to ask it again!

But here I am...I think it makes sense when after all the effort you don't want to mess up cutting too early or too late, especially when you are at your fists experiences.. :hump:

Plus being color blind makes things even more confusing!

I can't say that I seen any amber other than in 1 pic.. and it was on a leaf section. Still got some time. Seen some cloudy but a lot of clear heads still. Give it some time.. let's say by the time she dries out after your next feeding/watering. and we have these to compare them to. Please also try to catch shots of the same areas for an accurate comparison in maturity. Doing a great job of being on top of things. Once you harvest this baby you should pat yourself on the back.
Then it's on to drying and curing. Do you already have a plan for that?

Ahahah! Thanks

So that's the second one i grow, same strain, the main error on this one has been that I fed her too much, result is too many leaves that covers the lower buds (foliation i think it's the right term, but not sure...)
Also i went in holiday for 10 days and i could not apply LST anymore after that.

I dried the last one in the tent without light and no direct fan, but it's not a good solution, as i can't grow during that moment, and i lost precious time as i can harvest just once at a time... Also bad error was always be scary that it was still humid and never fully close the jars, i ends up with good weed but too dried.. I'll try to not repeat same errors this time.

I actually stop feeding her already 5 days ago, another user of the forum told me that i was giving to much nuts, so considering the late flowering time i decided to stop feeding her... should i go back doing it instead?

Any suggestion based on what I said?

That sucks your color blind bro, because your lady definitely has some color that deserves to be seen. I dont know when to harvest, havent made it there myself yet, but just wanted to say great work!

hi folks!

I think now she looks ready to me..

What u think? It's also starting drying and losing leaves as u can notice!

She is now 75 days almost 11 weeks (harvest time declared by the vendor is 8/9 weeks..

Just wondering if I should wait considering the actual conditions...
