I didn't understand it either, might have been an auto-fill spell check error? Mr. Magoo (great name) looks pretty chill but I would get nervous letting my cat anywhere near my plants. Mine spends a lot of time outside though... Those Kush leaves are crazy wide, I have never grown anything with leaves like that.

Looks like they are catching up quick to the Diesels.

I went and ordered some air-pots. 9 inch high by 7 inch wide(2 gallon)I Hope they are big enough. Magoo doesn't bother the plants anymore he used to chew the fans when he was smaller now all he does is go into the tents and suntans. Ya like I said the kush will catch up to the diesel in no time and the diesel have a good two week head start. Can't wait to get them into the air-pots. Also I went and bought a liter of AN big bud so thats all coming in about a week.

Somebody might find this a good read:

Just finished reading all 25+ pages and very nice... Ima gonna sub.

I have been ordering my nutrients from T & T hydroponics. Their pricing seems to be average.
I am predominantly a soil grower but I am entertaining the idea of Dutch buckets for my next grow. I definitely like the faster turnaround that hydro offers.

Cheers,

I was shocked at how big they got. I have concerns about the NYC Diesel as well but I had to try again. The big one that hermi'd on me I literally grabbed it's branches and broke them over in a effort to slow it down but it did nothing at all.

How the air-pots work:

"There are no flat surfaces due to the inward and outward pointed cones, which eliminates any chance of starting the spiraling process"

I found that to be interesting and worth knowing, in case anybody else was curious about it too :P

It's the air pruning that interests me the most. I was just telling another member that I still can't get these fucking pots, Had to cancel my order this morning because of bullshit. I do want these pots but I also need to transplant soon and will not wait. So if I can't get these pots in the next week maybe two I'll just transplant into regular pots.

I didn't know what you meant by air pruning so I did a quick search and this is what I found (for the sake of any others who also would like to know):

"Air pruning works by exposing the root tips to relatively dry air, causing the apical cells at the very tip of the root to dehydrate, or become air-pruned. This stimulates the growth of secondary roots that branch out from them within the growing media. These secondary roots spread throughout the container until they reach the sides and bottom where they get air pruned again, stimulating more root growth. The overall effect of this technique is the establishment of a well-developed root system that is spread evenly throughout the entire pot."

I mean, it makes total sense. I'm just curious as to how the pot itself air prunes the roots, if that's what you mean. Or if you're pruning the roots yourself in another way. I kinda really want to try those pots now lol
