How do you make cannabis syrup?

I don't know where to post this but how to you make cannabis syrup? I know you use wax and agave syrup but how do you get them to mix

Will a small amount of alcohol work? Or soy letchin or another fatty oil of some kind.

Make a tinticture and add to the agave is what I would try. Small batches first of course.
