How do you maintain a ppm in peat moss

to maintain your ppm in peat moss / coco or any other inert grow is reall as simple as checking your runoff and adding whats missing .. ie. runoff is showing 400ppm and you want to run at 650ppm so you just add 250ppm of nutes ??? is it that simple ?

No, if you wanna feed 650 ppm's then feed 650 ppm's testing the run off is more about checking PH

Why do you feel you should increase your runoff ppm? As RM said, people normally increase their nutrient solution's ppm and monitor the runoff ppm as an indication of salt buildup. If you see a trend over time that it rises from 600 to 800, to 1000, to 1200, you know you're feeding too much and need to feed with more runoff (mini flush each feeding) and/or reduce the strength of what you feed.
