And yes I know this isn't a grow question but fuck it. Any organized person has came across this question. What do you guys use, if u use a note book what kinda layout do you use plz any ideas would help me.

Roll one and ask the plants what they need.

Just write down everything u do daily in a notebook., Daily with times , amounts, dosages, training, days off germination, seedling time, veg time flower time, lights used, water/feeding schedules, additives. Write down everything u do to the plants and under the conditions or set up they are at each stage. Easy. Journal yourself as u go.

Get a big calendar like 2ft by 2ft that you can put different colored stickers on depending on what needs to be done. You can than write on the stickers if it needs extra notes. I use different colors and then label AM/PM depending on which flowering side of the flip box needs it. This lets you easily see what needs to be done and also you can easily look back at what you have done.image.jpgI don't have a lot going on now but when I do i can just add different colors to differentiate different tasks.

I mean do all this if u planning on doing experiments and change little stuff to c what works out better for u., Like to compare different grows changing little stuff to c how affects yield, smell, taste, flavor, thc production, terpine production, grow vigor, heights etc etc

When im experimenting ill just write what ive done on each plant pot, the clay coloured plastic pots with cd disc pen in black is permenant enough to stay on and not smudge but easy enough to scub off when finished.

Using the dates is ok but just using each water is a better point of reference so each pot has a list of what i did at each as reference.

THe box calnedar works for me as I write down nutrients used, and if I notice any major swing in the plants health or appearance.

No need to jot down every detail of life, but if a plant wilts before or after watering or the temps are 92 with the lights on, there some stuff youd like to remember a week later

If you're not legal be careful what you're writing down

Lmfao yes but your prolly more on the advanced side I'd like to keep track of simple shit to keep from making a rookie mistake.
No man basic feed half dose build it up to full dose or u see tip burn then back down then keep using veg notes after flip for a few weeks then half flower half veg then flowering all the way to the end u may want something to stimulate root growth like rizotontic or mycrocorizol or endocorizel or however u spell it make sure it's the endo one that binds best with cannabis is forums a symbiotic relationship with the root system abeling it to take more notes n protects from nasty shit I always dip em in it b4 I repot

In all cases mark your plant with an ID tag, along with the date it germed

then note that on your planner

good luck

All this advice is good.

I use a mixture of diaries, wall planner, notes on my phone, and dry wipe boards in the grow room.

Definitely tag each and every plant from birth. If you're working from scratch and chasing phenos from multiple seeds then make sure you can tell lineage on these tags. I use a codify my tags: starting with two initials for the strain (ie. LY for Larry OG), seed number from the original set (i.e. LY3), then a letter for whatever run cycle we are at (ie. LY3D tells me its the fourth cycle), and finally number identifies the plant number in that run (ie. LY3D6).

I use different color pen for each strain, both on the tag and on my paperwork so I know at a glance what i'm dealing with. Sounds complicated but it doesn't take long for this to sink in and become second nature. This is the only way I can keep lots of plants in a multi-strain garden properly organized, and I only have a 3kw flower room.

* * * *

I built my own spreadsheet diary to make records for each strain table. I print it, put on a clipboard and keep with every strain table for the life of those plants.

Every row in the sheet is a day, and every day in dedicated columns I note min/max temps & humidity, pH and EC of reservoir, of runoff and of any new feed, including foliars and teas etc. I make brief notes on growth / leaf and plant health and anything else noteworthy.

At a glance I can see veg has been XX days, flower sites set in XX days, etc. At the end of the run I use a different sheet to summarize the outcomes: plant size & health, yield, quality etc.

I don't know where I would be without good quality notes like this. Happy to share the sheet if you feel like it would be useful in your case.
