How do you handle LARF after a harvest?

I have a bunch of different shapes. Next time I think I'll make stars or triangles. I don't smoke much of it myself as it's a little too potent for my needs but I give it away which is why I'm not using a heart shaped mold to give to my dude friends.
I have dinosaurs and sugar skulls and any mold I could think of. Some of the stores my wives go to have stuff for me too lol.

Nice color to that.

When I do it with dry ice I just shake for a few seconds. I have a friend the processes what's left even more. He ends up with a bunch of green sift from the plant material and not just trichomes.
His filter isn't fine enough.

I go to Michael's art supply and get the finest silk screen filter I can get. You know the kind that used for making t-shirts. Then I cut the bottom of a cardboard box out and I gorilla tape the silkscreen into the bottom of that box. That gives me a nice big area to freeze and shake. I then take whatever fan leaves to whatever buds I don't care about and I chop them up a bit with scissors. Just the really thick parts in the buds. They have to be bone dry if possible for this. Then I take dry ice pellets that I get from the ice cream store and I take a handful and I toss them in with the pot and I shake shake shake over a glass table. At that point the trichomes flutter down and can easily gathered up with a credit card. Just trichomes.

Even with a fine screen the plant material eventually breaks down enough to get through if you shake it long enough.

I bought 3 yards of screen for about $10 on Amazon. I use 2 small buckets. I cut the bottom out of one and covered it with the screen. That bucket then sits inside the other one. Just add dry ice and trim. A little shaking and the sift is in the bottom bucket.
