How do you guys sterilize your flower room between grows

I use 3% h202 which I think is fine considering the reaction I see in front of my eyes but I've also been told to use 10% h202 to be safe. Be careful using it though because concentrations above 5% can permanently damage eyes but I'm sure most disinfectants can.

It's one of the better sterilizers because it leaves no residue behind at all.

H202 (hydrogen peroxide) is hands down the best for this, IMO. It is very effective against both bacterial and fungal growths while very safe for humans and plants.

If you have any kind of porus material (drywall, wood, etc.) H202 is better than bleach because (according to research, not me) H202 has much better penatration, where bleach only disinfects the surface.

My grow area is small, but I had to fight an extreme mildew problem in another very large room, and I learned that there is often an even bigger infestation on the side of surfaces you can't see.

One thing about H202 to keep in mind. It starts to degrade (turn in to water and oxygen) the minute you break the seal (even after closing). At that point you should use it up within 6 months. So it doesn't make sense to buy it in huge containers and store it. Better to buy lots of smaller bottles, unless you will use most of it all at once.

[Edit: vinegar and water mix is also an effective, cheap, and organic alternative. It worked well for me also but not quite as well as H202, plus it stank, but you kinda get used to it.]

H2O2 works wonders as far as bacteria growth but how well does it do against insects lurking in crevices? Those little buggers can wreck havoc on ur plants like mites for example.

In my tents that I use for small blooming and veg I usually use bleach. Especially something new I'm bringing in. Soil seems to introduce all kinds of pests into the grow room.

i use diluted bleach and spray my grow room and warm water to wipe the bleach walls and stuff after . stinks to high hell but the smell goes away in a few days. fuck mold and fuck bugs drink bleach and die cunts is my motto . its most important to keep stuff clean if you are growing a sterile kind of grow light dwc flood and drain ect if you use coca or soil i probably would be overly worried about keeping stuff sterilized

Had used 35% h202 diluted at around 3-5 oz per gallon for years and sometimes bleach for extended system sterilization but recently switched to using sodium percarbonate which when mixed results in a solution of i believe 35% h202 and soda ash. I've found it to be more effective than just h202 and it is a powder so it's easier to store until mixed as needed and much cheaper to purchase at around 15$ a pound (i think)from Amazon which will make many many gallons of cleaning solution. don't really know how many gallons it will make but I've been using it at around 2-3 cups of powder per50gallon res and running it through my tables for several hours after first scrub to sterilize everything with great results.it also rinses off much easier than bleach and no smell.I switched to it after35% h202 became unavailable to be shipped from Amazon.
