i typically bend over and spread my cheeks and let the water hit my anus while my fingers prickle around the rim.

i can't stand mud-butt!
 
I clean my ass like the rest of the world: with my hands and soap. Plus, I'd like to add that I proudly pee in the shower and fuck anyone who doesn't.

Jeez. Does no-one else just do the old handstand against the wall with the shower head turned to massage mode routine? It's the only way to really blast out any lingering crud. Just remember to look down so you don't get that shitty water all up your nose. That's the one and only downside to this technique that I've found...
