how do you add nutes? my plants are dieing

I am wondering how you add nutrients into aerophonics setup...

do you have to put water in a jug and mix the nutrient and just feed them the water that way... or do you just add the nutrients directly into the basin??

currently I have just put the nutes right into the basin today and I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to the nutes...

please help me and tell me the methods you use to add the nutes, along with how often you add them.

sorry about all the topics the site was lagging, but I have watched a video that showed me how to mix it and put it into a 1 gallon jug... but i still have a question...

how often.... do i water the plants with the jug...? or do I just use all the water that has the nutrients in it as the basin... or what... im really confused and my plants are dieing =(

I have a flood system but Im sure all u have to do is turn the system off 1st and then add ur nutes in to ur water. U alos need a TDS/EC meter to messure the Nutes in the water B4 u ajust ur PH. Its all depends on what stage of growth ur in to know how much nutes to add. In veg state u need to start at about 250-500ppm or 0.5-1.0ec and move up 200ppm every 2 week and ur ph should be at 5.8
