how do u use bluelab soil ph pen to test ph of water?

how do u use bluelab soil ph pen to test ph of water? do u leave the dibber on?
Huh. Just put the probe in the water? You never leave the sheild on or else you're just measuring the ph of the kci storage solution
The dibber is used to punch a hole in the substrate, and to house the probe while not in use. Then you put the probe into the substrate to measure the ph of the substrate or into the water to measure the ph of the solution.

Just stop watching that guy. He's full of bad advice and is just a sponsored grower. It's basically watching a commercial for useless shit. Trust me on this

And I appreciate your eagerness. Lol. I'm not sure man, I've never watched those things really. I grew up growing in a different time. There was limited info and alot of it was 'broscience'. Weedmags, learning from others and trial and error was the best way to learn. Don't think you can watch a vid and grow top shelf right after. Get your feet wet, and try. There's alot of great growers here that can help you along the way and many many threads that contain all the answers you're looking for.

Dip into reservoir and let temperature stabilize before recording the reading. It works in reservoirs or soil, just rinse off before you put it away and do not forget to use the KCI storage solution by bluelab in the tube that you screw over the probe. If that probe dries out you're f*cked. I've had the same bluelab soil pen for over a year and it still calibrates whereas my other pens over the last few years have all died by bluelab and it usually happens right after the warranty is up.

Dr MJ Coco is a better option. Although there isn’t much about growing on his channel.. it’s still imho a better option lol.

That guys voice makes me want to punch my fist through my wall. IDK how anyone can sit through his videos. "today we're feeding our plants with gaia green amendments." EVERY YOUTUBE GROWER.....
Gaia green is great, and easy to use. But not easy to use to the best of it's ability. You need exp to be able to judge when and what your plants need at certain times. Just using Gaia grow or bloom alone isn't really the best way of doing it.
