lumatek SonAgro 600 watt 3000k HPS
Aeroflow Hydroponic System
GH 3 Nutrient System

i hear a co2 system is pretty good, can anyone list me some prices and where to get one? any cheap and effective methods will be greatly appreciated as well.

Well first of all I would add some GH koolbloom to the 3 part system. Its about $16.00 at a grow shop. You can also make your own c02 from yeast and sugar water.
Its not gonna produce huge amounts, but every little bit helps.

not sure how many plants you are growing under that 600 watt light...but one thing i would recommend is longer veg periods and a smaller number of large plants trained properly. never messed with the co2. i think it helps with density.

spend some money on mycorrhizal fungus. fungus creates a 'symbiotic' relationship with the roots. they feed eachother. great addition to any grow. you can get it free in sample form from some companys or go spend around 15-60 bucks. branches can also be singled out to create bigger buds. when speaking of yield i would definitely rather train a well vegged plant. hundreds of smaller nugs compared to tens of big buds.

thanks for the advice, im vegging a good amount 18 inches? i end up with 3 feet plants at harvest. i cant really veg it longer cause they grow so fast and tall, i had one get to like 5 feet. my ceiling is only 7 feet not including the system and the light so i dont have that much space to work with. im trying to veg with fluros really close so they stay smaller. thanks for the advice. more is always appreciated.

The yeast and sugar method will help. its 1 tablespoon two 3/4 cup sugar in a 2 liter soda bottle. fill it up with luke warm water 2/3 of the way full. squeeze the bottle to get some air out, put the lid on and shake it until everything looks dissolved. take the cap off and put it in the room.

depending on the size of the room and how much air flow you have going through it will determine how much Co2 will absorbed by the plants.

There are two things that you can do to ensure the optimal levels of Co2 are avail for the plants.

1. run a hose that fits pretty well from the bottler to the tops of the plants, this way the Co2 will fall onto the plants.

2. buy a cheap Co2 meter from the hydro store. you can get one for about 20 bucks, tops. it will come with a syringe that you will pull air from the plant area and then blow that "sample" through a glass tube, in turn the Co2 will turn the material in the glass tube a different color giving you a Rough idea of what you Co2 is. with this in mind you can add more bottle to your room to bring it to the appropriate levels for your plants.

the yeast and sugar concoction will run you about $1 per bottle prolly less especially if you buy in any type of quantity. Everyone has and needs sugar anyway. you will want to shake you bottle each "morning" to boost the production of Co2. you will also need to replace the concoction once a week or so.

the guy at the hydro shop told me the nova series is what he uses and sells the most of.

i got the nova veg and bloom flouricious plus and kool bloom. Tip - shake the shit out of it or the bottom of the bottle will be hot i was told. The stuff is like liquid dirt. very concentrated 2 tsp per gallon

grow-micro-bloom-koolblm in tsp.

I would stick to the regular flora series. Do 3-2-1 for veg 2-2-2 for transition into flower and 1-2-3-2 for flower.
