how do i top so tht i will get 4 main colas ?

i would suggest LST tieing down the tom of the plant so it end up below the rest of the plant. that makes sideshoots grow fast as hell and join the top canopy and you have more tops.

or you could try the FIM technique

normally that leaves you with 2 colas forming from the below sideshots at where you topped, it happens offcourse you get more from the next sideshoots aswell but not all the time

You want to cut above the second true node for 4 colas. I cut above the third for 6.

i think you can't go wrong if you let your plant grow 6 nodes then chop her down to just above the 2n node, give her another 2 wks veg then put into flower. the colas should just begin on their own
 
I just cut the top off mine & about a week later it branched out with 4 colas. Its takes a while to start but once the colas start to grow & are about a inch or two long, they grow faster. It puts alot of stress on it when you top it, but it will be ok. I'll post pics of mine later today
