I suppose grow area is a factor isn't it, if you have a nice bit of height then I'd use a 300w CFL minimum in a nice wide angle reflector. Do you intend on using a tent or a room? I would use a 1.2m sq tent and do either 16 small in a sea of green or 4 in larger pots nowt else seems to work that well in a 1.2... air intake preferable but if you get a large enough exhaust fan it'll draw passive air in anyway. In the UK theres a great oscillating clip on fan, I have one its only about 6 inch but packs a reet punch! Or maybe you are looking at a larger set up...

Oh and if you like organic do soil with hand watering, if not then set up with a little dripper system i

I love that you're from the UK. Is a greenhouse and glasshouse the same? It's poly not glass the one Im Doing. What's a borstal?

Yes but we call em greenhouses here too, a glasshouse is also a greenhouse but bigger I think? A Borstal used to be a UK naughty lads home... sort of? But the wardens all called the greenhouses the glasshouse, so there you go my friend.

Got it! Any ideas on what size pots are best to finish up in indoors? I was thinking 7 gallon? Im in 1, then going to 3, then thought go to 7 to finish. What do u think ???

I would say its back to your room really, if I had plenty of time with good temps, good light, plenty of patience I'd go as big a finishing pot as possible! Why not? Theres some guys I know here who are growing pure organic in 60 litre pots that are huge like 2 metres high but its not for me. I love my chems and hydro its just faster with good product (:

Really, wow. I was leaning towards it. If HID its the best way , why doesn't everyone use it?? Is it more expensive to run?? What do u suggest switching to during flower?

Its hot, expensive and ideally you want the Halide in veg and the sodium in flower so 20 x 20 say 8 600w lamps with ballasts and reflectors tis a large investment

HID is expensive, and heat is a problem. If your intentions are just personal use, t5 is the way to go. I notice the tin foil. Just FYI, flat white paint is way better if possible, or Mylar.

Thanks for your input , the pic wasn't mine. I use diamond mylar. No glare to worry about.
