How do I properly transplant clones into pots?

I have never transplanted clones on rock wool into pots with soil. Any specific info. on pot size suggestions, soil brands etc. would be greatly appreciated. As well as the necessary steps to transplant. Thanks all and happy growing! :mrgreen::weed:

Nothing special. Quality potting soil. Pot size Depends on the size of rw cubes and clones. I like small containers at first then work my way up. I usually start with solo cups, then fill them up about 3/4 of the way put the clone in gently, fill the rest of the cup with soil, water it and that's it. done.

A small container too start (solo cup is fine) wait until your see roots out the bottom and transplant to finishing pot. I never like to transplant more than once. Transplant can shock a plant so why risk doubling or tripling (or more) the shock by doing multiple transplants. When you are ready to transplant, moisten the soil so it clumps around the root ball. Turn your container upside down and tap gently on the bottom until the root ball falls out. Dig a hole into your medium, stick the root ball in it and level off the medium...transplant complete.
