Im thinking about Plants like gangagurl's - that's the aim!
How do I get steaks that look like this? I want techniques that suit outdoor growing.
How she do dat?
Hey mud do you think that theory or fact changes at some point/pot size. I use 35 and 100 and honestly both grew similar size stalks. Overall plant size was also surprisingly similar considering 3x pot sizeit's root space, I wish i had more pics of stems but if you put a 5gal bucket plant next to the exact same strain grown in a mound like i do or large 50g+ pot you will see stem size difference. The 5gal bucket will have a pencil thin stem that gets sort of big, but the mound or large pot plant will have serious stem girth nearly twice the diameter of the 5gal plant.
It was an arbitrary number i picked (50) 35 works, 20 works even...my bad, when i first wake up im really bad at posting articulate posts.Hey mud do you think that theory or fact changes at some point/pot size. Great convo man...umm i know it's not tap root related...im not sure yet how much of a role air pruning plays in stem girth yet. I Think it's just a root hormone signaling thing...roots hit walls of 5gal bucket and says "this is all we get boys, work accordingly"I know what you meant just wondering if you think that Carries across the board. 5-50 is a big jump but so is 30-100 or 100-500 etc just wondering how you felt about at which point the difference becomes in noticeable
Oh no. A size vs hardness debate. Not going there.Hmmm interesting I know silica strengthens plant cells and aids in fighting fungus and disease but had know idea it had anything to do with growing big stalks other than strengthening and aiding in keeping the plant healthy. Obviously the plant has to be healthy but is it essential to growing tree trunks other than making them stronger
Again.... are we talking about plants here? LolOh no. A size vs hardness debate. Not going there.
Imo pot size/space , keeping it healthy and happy , veg time and good genesIm thinking about Plants like gangagurl's - that's the aim!
