How did yours turn out? Vivosun 1000

hey guys !I’ve used the info on this site for ever and finally joined ! Anyways I just recently bought a 1000 watt hps set up with an air cooled hood from vivosun and I was wondering how the ladies liked these lights for anyone else? Here’s my Bruce banner and Montreal Durban just starting week 2 flower.

hard to go wrong with 1000w hps, my air cooled hoods are a lot closer....

Thanks I’ll try moving them down. Heat is the only thing I worried about with the new hps as I’m used to using led lights. So far it’s been pretty manageable and stays around 75.

I use the thinning hair on the top of my head as a guide.....stand under the lights and lower em until I feel it getting warm on my head =). Back of the hands work for some people but mine aren't very sensitive.

You don't need to spend a bunch of money on the latest fancy LED light to grow excellent weed. A 1000 watt HPS will do the same thing for around $200. It uses more electricity and puts out more heat. Other than that the end result is spectacular harvests.

You can probably get that light closer to the plants.

Thanks guys! I’ll be lowering and using my hand to check for heat. I’ve always ran vipar spectra lights and wasn’t happy after a few grows. What do you have on the grow?
