I set up my first grow and the only issue I have is the amount of noise coming from the tent.
I tried putting the inline fan in a cardboard box filled with those shipping foam noodles and 60mil thick sound dampening foil and that didn't really do anything.
It seems the be the air moving the loudest part of the grow setup.
So my question is how did you reduce the noise?
I know there has to be someone out there that setup their grow tent in the same room their sleeping in and had to reduce the noise in order to fall asleep, if so how did you do it?
I'm debating if I should get insulated ducting, cost around $50 per 25Ft but the price doesn't bother me if it will lower the noise at least by 25%.
Let me know what you've done or what you think will work.
I just use 1 inline fan to exhaust 2 hoods and it seems a little loud, almost louder than my A/c.
