how close to light should i put the plant

hi
i have a seedling that i just planted in soil and i have a grow box but ewhile its a seedling and not spouted yet im keeping it in the house.


so its not spouted its been it the cup for about 12 hrs.

how long before it sprouts?


i have the light on 3 bricks on each side so its about 5-8 in from the light.

its a 400w mh hydrofarm light.

Did you put the seed in the soil unsprouted? If that is the case it could take 1 - 4 days if it sprouts at all (depending on how good the seeds are).

Don't think they need that close to the light. Keep mine seedlings about 3 feet from 400 watt hps.

What is the temp. where your seedlings are?

What would you recommend, An HPS system with White reflector or Chrome?

i have a pcsetup (www.pcgrowcase.com) i have topped alrery, bended and stil not ready for flowering what should i do?

when i grow indoors i like to only grow 2 plants at a time what i do to sprout them is to first germinate the seeds then after their roots have sprouted to be about 3/4 an inch long i put them in a 160z party cup with premium potting soil and under a 24/0 40w cfl about 3 inches away and i normally see results after 1-2 days. then once their about 2 inches tall and have some leaves i switch to my hps.

and how much you getting off the two plants roughly
