How close to chop?

What about yellowing fan leaves? I had just one do that like 3 weeks or so ago but since then with feeding no other leaves have changed. Does this signal anything? Or is it all good?

Also any easy drying and curing tips? Do they need complete darkness or just relative darkness? I do not want to fuck this baby up after I put in lotsa love lol

Sorry for triple posting but I just checked with a light and magnifier and the triches look about 10% Amber. What's the goal for percent roughly for a good sativa hybrid kinda feel for Amber trichomes

So I'm planning on chopping her on either the 18th or the 23rd because I'm off work those days. Which would be better and would five days make much of a difference with trichome color? They're pretty mature looking right now

Oh and I'm not doing the dark period seems like a waste of time it could be drying. Just to double check chop after the dark period right. Since she's going down wouldn't the light be wasted from harvest day? Thanks again guys

Not what you asked as im sure you've had enough of those already, but when you chop that don't end up screwing yourself -

By this I mean it looks airy (damn tasty tho!) and you can get carried away trying to "manicure" your beautiful bud.
You can end up taking too much off and before you know it you've chopped of some very useable smoke!
I suggest hanging the whole thing and just removing the big fans after they dry, leave crystal leaves on the buds except maybe 1/3 of the tip of those leaves.

I can tell you're excited ! Just didn't want to see you go down a route I mistakingly did too some years ago!

I'll take your advice.from touching some of the bigger buds they seem pretty dense but I so know what you're saying about the airy parts I see that too. Do they swell durin dry and cure as well?

Since my buds look a little airy like you said any tips for bulking up buds for my other plants? I got three in their first week of flower so if there's anything I could do for those that'd be sick
