Hey just wondering if anyone could tell me how close this girl is to harvest time? Cheese plant in soil. Thinking about starting a flush soon. Any kind of help greatly appreciated!

Agree. ^^^^ about another week to allow a little more recede - check your triches.

Since it looks like clay pebble medium ... Forget the flush ... Not needed
Good looking buds

Thanks guys. It's in soil haha took the pic next to my drip system. Should I keep feeding nutes or cut back or cut off completely for this last week and a half?

Cool sounds like I'll feed her a weak solution. Any ideas when to cut off feed? How long before the chop?

^thanks lol

Any tips for this last stretch? I've been slowly deleafing the last 3 weeks or so and that fattened the buds up like motherfuckers. Anything else I should do or look out for at this stage?

Also quick question will the buds be changing at all or just the triches? So I know what to keep my eyes on

there's really no reason to de-leaf late in flowering like you said you've been doing..
umm, the hairs, pistils, should all recede back into the buds.. that's one quick way i can tell that they're not ready yet.. when they're ready, pretty much all of the hairs will have receded back into the buds. some strains might throw a few late season pistils, and as a result you might be harvesting with a few hairs that haven't receded yet, but the general rule of thumb for me is that they're usually all receded back into the buds fully..
secondly, the calyx will swell up nicely.. yours look like they're starting to swell, but they should get nice a super fat when ready to chop.
lastly, is the color of the trics.. a lot of people have their guidelines they like to follow as far as what color they like their trics to be at harvest, but for the most part, you should want about 15% amber or so max at harvest, and mostly all cloudly, with lttlle to no clear ones left.. get a 30x jewelers lope or a handheld microscope 60-100x from a place like radio shack to check the maturity of trics.

Anyone have experience with the 36 hour dark period right before harvest? I'm wondering if I should give it a go or if it's just some stoner myth haha

I think stoner myth. But lots of ppl do it.
Then again alot of people flush and there is no science to back that up either

You seem to be under the impression of several stoner myths. Flushing you have already learned you don't need to do, regardless of medium. Also as far as cutting leafs off you're actually only hurting your final yield when you do that the plant won't magically focus on leafs instead of bud come time to fatten up it will happen with or without the leafs.

In this case those a dark period before harvest isn't necessarily bad I've read some people do it to help their plant reach the finish.

^gotcha. Idk if it was just coincidental but when I first defoliated when there was a canopy of fan leaves the buds seemed to grow faster than when I had them all on. Obviously that doesn't do anything now lol. Anyone know if it did work or if that was just a timing thing? It'd be helpful for my next grow for sure
