How Canadians Can Legalize Marijuana?

Personally.. I think Harper's new crime bill may actually open the door for decriminalizing up to 5 plants for personal, similar to what Alaska used to have with their 4 plant limit. The sentencing guidelines originally had 6 months for 1-200 plants. Now it's 6-200 plants. No mention of the "less than 6" category of penalties. And if you look at what the Green Party says, they think the same way:

"But Canadian law looks to moving beyond this simple premise. *We may see the de-criminalization of owning up to 5 marijuana plants. *And this type of clarity, especially from a Conservative government, is something of a surprise. *The police and the courts should be happy to finally be seeing some guidance as to what they should be concerned about."

Basically.. sounds like when they legalized home-brew beer in the late 70's.. allowed to brew your own, but not for sale or to give away. Ensures that only the Government.. and "licensed" big business to make a profit off of it. But opens the door for "personal" production.

Hopefully............. :D
