How big should i make my room ????

Hi everyone,

i have one 400w light should i make my room 2.4m long x 1.2m wide or 2.4m x 2.4m, i want to grow about 4 plants at once and want to know what to do please help

If you want to grow just four, your going to want the best females. You should germinate more than you'll use and than sex them. Pick your 4 favorites and get rid of the rest. Give them to somebody you trust or put them in a compost pile. When their 12 to 18 inches tall cut the lights back. 400w should grow you four. Good luck.

another question i have my new tiny seedlings under 24 hour light for now , when should i go 18/6 ?????

They will continue to grow in the vegatative state in either 18/6 or 24 hours of light a day. It would not hurt to cut the lights back to 18/6. It'll just save on electricity.

So its safe to do it now. Just monitor your baby's to avoid future problems.
