How big pot for coco grow?

If it would be a Canna Coco grow and watering at every second day, then...

... How big pots would you recommend using for optimal results when having 4 plants under 1000W?

How big are you wanting them? I can grow 6'+ plants in 5 gallons of coco. My go to size is 9 liter pots with 28 days of veg. I guess it really depend on how long a veg time you are looking for.

What if vegging for 8-10 weeks?

I have at the moment 22 liter pots (almost 6 gallons) and I would fill them up to 19 liters (5 gallons).

That would be my pick, if people wouldn't tell me otherwise.

I grow six footers all the time. What I'm interested in is yield; what do you generally get? Average? Best?

The best way would be to up pot through out you're veg till you reach you're desired size pots to finish in. Just easier to adjust you're watering schedule as going strait to big pots you will have trouble keeping a consistent watering requirements.

1/4 to 1/2 pounders depending on strain, 30 day veg, 600 HPS
My biggest is 26 1/4oz, and I'm looking to double that if I can. My coco filled 5 gallon buckets will sit in a tub and get hempy with it. I'm going for monsters!

90 day veg, though I'm going to reduce that, and each plant gets 900W, either of 860W CDM Allstart on mag, or of CXB3590 3500K @ 56% efficiency. The difference? Double the PAR with the COB LED lighting!

What nutes do you like for coco? I've been running Mills AB but it ain't cheap.
If my local shops carried Dyna grow foliage pro, I'd try it for comparison.

I use 30 litre rhizo bags but my plants are always about 6 foot I also use a product called carbo load by advanced nutrients to add weight works great for me try it out

That sounds just fine, You can grow what ever you want without anyone saying it is wrong, There are so many ways to grow, I do mine 8 to 10 weeks all the time, Because I like the taller plants with more yield, But you can do what ever feels best and suits your growing needs. I am growing In Pro Mix HP, I tried it with Coco but it seemed to need way to much attention then with just the HP. they grow better and healthier than with coco, I know some will say different but In my 30 years of growing, I find it much better to Keep it simple then make it harder to grow and keep adding this that and the other thing. Good luck and happy grow

I was surprised to discover coco blocks vary in ph and residual salts. Once you figure it out, it's not complicated.
I had never used a ph meter until I got into coco, and now I check all my nutes, even for soil. I've seen some crazy fluctuations! Hell, I bought some neptunes harvest seaweed because it was half price and now I use it instead of ph down! Works great & my plants dig the micro nutes.
But if I mix the seaweed with a macro nute, ph could drop down to 4.5 -- not cool. Gotta bump it up. Without a ph meter, I wouldn't know...

I'm just switching to it now, so I'll be running the Canna lineup as per the system I'm copying. I'll reverse engineer the nutes after a few runs then do side by sides to make sure we've got it down.

I found them very messy to use as I need about 1000 litres of coco and it slowed the whole process down but I would definatly use them again when it's in a location where getting like 100 bags in is abit dangerous lol
